Samsung Galaxy S6 vs LG V10 For Android 6.0 Marshmallow Love

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG V10 in South Korea and the UK have had some good news and this is that Android 6.0 Marshmallow is heading to the devices as a beta.

Samsung is known to dominate devices running on Android so it may be a surprise to find out that some handsets are struggling to receive the latest Android version on their device.

Some owners of the LG V10 have been getting the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow but at the moment we don’t have any idea as to when those on T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T will be getting the update. Users shouldn’t worry too much as the G4 and the G Stylo handsets haven’t got the update yet. Owners should expect the same changelog and this include improvements to the battery, Wi-Fi, reboot and others.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 beta version is being tested in the UK and South Korea and it is then coming to the rest of the world. Marshmallow for the S6 is going to offer owners a user interface that has been modified. There will be white menus instead of blue ones on the Status bar. The power menu is going to be minimalistic and some app icons will be modified.

For the time being we are going to have to wait to see how long it takes for the Marshmallow update to make it out to the rest of the world along with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG V10.
