Samsung Galaxy S6 vs iPhone 6S: Winner Is…

By  |

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6S continued their battle right through 2015 and as we moved into the new year neither device has relented.

Both the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6S are showing strong sales into Q1 and this brings about a very important question. Which is the better smartphone?

To find this out we did a side by side comparison of the pros and cons of both smartphones. Here they are:

Samsung Galaxy S6 pros and cons:

In terms of advantages, the Samsung Galaxy S6 boasts a whopping 3GB of RAM for smooth processing, a 16MP camera that beats the iPhone and longer battery life than Apple’s flagship. However it has some disadvantages too such as an easily scratch exterior, the frail rear glass and its thicker body.

iPhone 6S pros and cons:

When it comes to the iPhone 6S, it is super thin, that fingerpint technology can’t be more convenient and the constant quick software updates. For negatives we see low RAM and lower battery life top the list.

Overall, we would suggest the iPhone 6S if you want something that looks stylish, while the Samsung Galaxy S6 for something more powerful.

Galazy S6 has “longer battery life than Apple’s flagship”??? That’s a joke! I have a 3 month old S6 that needs to be charged every 8 hours (out of which its idle for 7 hours!). I’ve enabled the android power-savings mode and tried everything possible to save battery life. That’s what most android users do these days (try battery savers, memory cleanup apps, S6 is a “looser” from battery point of view. Perhaps we should say “android” is a looser from battery point of view
