Samsung Galaxy S6: How’s Battery Life?

By  |

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is without a doubt one of the best-selling Android smartphones of 2015. It has managed to hold its ground despite tough competition from the likes of the LG G4, Sony Xperia Z series, iPhone 6S and even its siblings the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Note Edge.

Now the folks over at GSM Arena have put the device through a number of tests to see how its battery life is when it comes to common tasks. The good news is that its battery holds up well to all the tests. Check out the results above.

As we can see 3G talk time is a solid 19:48hrs, web browsing 10:56hrs and video playback is a decent 12:12hrs. With these numbers it comes in the same as the Galaxy S6 Edge but loses to the iPhone 6S. It does however beat its Android comrades the LG G4 and Sony Xperia Z4. So not a bad win after all.

So overall expect the Samsung Galaxy S6 to get you through the day with ease without running out of juice.
