Samsung Galaxy S6 Reveals Why Pure Android Was A Failure

By  |

There are some people who really aren’t interested in which version of Android they have running but others have to install the latest version as soon as they can. Updates have been slow coming to the S6 but this is the norm as only pure Android devices get fast updates and this isn’t available on Samsung devices.

People waited for some time for the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S6 update to Lollipop, while owners of the LG G4 enjoyed all that it offered.

Samsung used to offer pure Android devices by way of the Google Play Editions and these were updated faster. These are not offered any longer and Samsung now offers the Good Lock app.

There are some people who are frustrated by the lack of the Google Play Editions but Samsung said that they are not in demand and this is why they don’t offer them up anymore.

The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update took forever to reach the Samsung Galaxy S6 as other updates have and owners cannot help feeling disappointed. But with Samsung saying that they are not offering Google Play Editions they are stuck with having to wait.

The Google Play Edition hasn’t been around for two years now but while people might wish they had it as it typically gets updated faster they might also want to remember that owners typically have to forgive support.
