There are many owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 who really don’t care about what operating system is running on their device. Then there are others who update as soon as possible when they are notified.

However there are a few fanatics owning the Samsung Galaxy S6 and these people cannot wait and are constantly checking to see if there is a new update for their handset.

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 waited for the arrival of Lollipop on their device and could only look on as owners of the LG G4 bragged about getting the update. It brought Google Now on Tap and Doze. Android Nougat is now out but not that many owners have been treated to it yet.

Samsung used to offer up pure Android with Google Play Editions but they stopped and now they have the Good Lock app. There are some people who have been disappointed about the lack of pure Android but it seems that there hasn’t been enough upset so Samsung are not offering it.

We haven’t seen any Google Play Editions for some years now and this is down to the fact that not that many people bought them. With pure Android owners typically had to forget about support and Sony found out this the hard way.
