We now know which Samsung smartphone is the favorite child as Samsung released the beta version of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.

With all the issues that the Samsung Galaxy S6 had after the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, the updated version of the OS is suppose to help fix most of that. While we still do not know when the official version will be release, it is still nice to know that the beta version is here because it means the official version is not that far away.

Other than fixing some of the issues, the new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow should also be coming in with some new features like the new list of emojis that Google added as well as a few new features like the Google Now on Tap and Doze features. The latter will help extend the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The updated version will also upgrade some of the features like the Quick Setting toggles as well as the fingerprint identification process.
