Samsung Galaxy S6 Isn’t Offered With Pure Android

By  |

Some Samsung Galaxy S6 owners have no idea as to which version of Android they are running on their device. Other owners just have to put the latest version of Android on their devices as soon as they are able to do so. Updates are typically slow as the Samsung Galaxy S6 doesn’t own pure Android and only pure Android handsets get updated fast.

Samsung Galaxy S6 owners complained that they had a long wait for the arrival of Lollipop for their handset while owners of the LG G4 got the update.

Samsung used to offer pure Android on the Google Play Editions but sadly these are no longer offered and Samsung now has the Good Lock app. Marshmallow took forever to reach the Samsung Galaxy S6 and of course owners were disappointed.

The GPE devices haven’t been offered for more than two years and Samsung stopped them as they were not selling. So it looks as though pure Android isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

But do you wish that the Samsung Galaxy S6 offered pure Android?
