Samsung Galaxy S6 Is Loved More Than Note 5 And Here Is Why

By  |

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is in front of its brother the Note 5 in regards to it getting updated. This is due to the fact that Samsung have just launched the beta version of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Samsung Galaxy S6.

It was just weeks ago when the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta came out for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and even then at first the update was limited to owners who were participating in a program in the UK. The update brought with it visual improvements including Google Now on Tap and the Doze features.

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow does sound like a minor update at first, and of course this is a beta version, but it does come with plenty of upgrades. You can check some of them out below.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

The above list is just a few of the many upgrades to come with the Android 6.0.1. Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy S6.
