Samsung Galaxy S6, iPhone 6S or Nexus 6P: Which Is The Best From 2015?

By  |

Going further into 2016 people are asking what the best device was to come out of 2015. While we have seen many superb devices, the iPhone 6S, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Nexus 6P are well ahead.

We think that the best handset of 2015 should be the Google Nexus 6P. It is better than the phone that came before it and it does hold a great deal of potential.

The Google Nexus 6P is a luxurious handset thanks to the design and it does beat the iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S6 in our opinion. This is due to the fact that the design is aluminum and it comes with the fingerprint sensor.

There is a 5.7 inch 2K AMOLED display on the Nexus 6P and this means that the viewing angles are great and blacks are deep. As the display is covered in Gorilla Glass 4 this means that it doesn’t attract oil from the finger and leave fingerprints. There are some people who have said that the bezels are too wide but this is strictly a matter of preference.

But what do you think, should we have chosen the Nexus 6P?

I don’t disagree, in general, with your assessment; however, for me, it’s the guaranteed OS updates the Nexus will receive that make it more attractive than, say, the Galaxy S6, as carrier-provided phones rarely receive Android updates past the second year. I don’t think the aluminum design or fingerprint scanner are that relevant because the iPhone also has both of those qualities. For me, it’s the pure Android OS and guaranteed updates….. Anything else (ios vs Android), is strictly subjective / personal preference (as ios also receives timely updates)
