Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets Shown More Love Than Note 5

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 know that Samsung shows their device more love than they do the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. This is due to the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S5 got the beta update to Android 6.0 while the Note 5 didn’t.

The beta version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow was offered in the UK and with it came some improvements to Google Now on Tap along with Doze.

At first glance it was thought that Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow might only be a minor update. However the update did bring with it plenty of upgrades. Some of them are listed below.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

These are just a few of the many updates of course but do you have the update and if so what do you think of it?
