Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets More Thought Than The Samsung Galaxy Note 5

It is looking like the Samsung Galaxy S6 gets a lot more love than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. This is due to the fact that Samsung have revealed the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS as a beta version for the S6 and not the Note 5.

It was some weeks back when a beta test in the UK was launched for owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6. The updated to the operating system include Google Now on Tap and Doze. With the latter helping owners to save battery.

When you first take a look at the beta update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow you could be forgiven for thinking that this was nothing more than a minor update. However on a closer inspection it comes with many upgrades, some of which are listed below.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

Did you get the invite to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and if so what do you think about it?
