Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets More Attention Than Note 5 and Here Is Why

By  |

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is in front of the Note 5 in regards to the attention it receives as the beta version of Android 6.0.1 has been released for it and not the Note 5.

Just weeks ago the Samsung Galaxy S6 got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update beta in the UK but the update didn’t arrive for people in the USA. The update brought with it many visual improvements along with Doze and Google Now on Tap.

When you first looked at the update you could have been forgiven for thinking that this was just a minor update. However it did come with plenty of upgrades and some of them are listed below.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

This list is of course not the complete list. But do you have the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and if so what do you think about it?
