Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets A Lot More Love Than Note 5 Does

We think that the Samsung Galaxy S6 gets a lot more love than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 does. We say this as the S6 was treated to the beta version of Android 6 Marshmallow while the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was left out in the cold.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 was given the beta version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the UK but owners of the Note 5 were not treated to the same update and neither were owners in the US. When the update arrived it came with many improvements with two being Google Now on Tap and Doze.

When you first looked at the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update it seemed minor but it brought with it many upgrades, some of which you can check below.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).
These are just a few of the updates to arrive with the beta version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and of course there are many more.
