Samsung Galaxy S6 Didn’t Get Helping Hand From Samsung

Two superb handsets are the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. Both of them offer up great performance along with superb Quad HD Super AMOLED displays and they take excellent photos. On the downside Samsung really didn’t give them much of a helping hand in the battery life department and this has let the handsets down.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge offer a battery of 3,000mAh and 3,600mAh and this is what attracted many people as you would have thought that the battery life would have been excellent. However this hasn’t turned out to be the case.

The battery life is poor and this resulted in the Samsung Galaxy S6 pair getting low sales figures. Some people said that the handsets tend to overheat. However on saying this they haven’t suffered the same fate as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The poor battery life and overheating is said to be due to software while others have blamed the hardware of Samsung, but in reality it could be both. Lollipop is well-known for draining down batteries and Marshmallow, even with the Doze feature, hasn’t been able to rectify the problem.

So it is looking as though Samsung didn’t do the Samsung Galaxy S6 any favours when it comes to the battery department.
