Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Life May Be Bit of A Shocker

By  |

Samsung keep making their devices larger with each successive device. When they have made their handsets bigger they have also made the battery bigger, until this time that is with the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with a battery that hasn’t been made any bigger this time around yet the handset has to compete with such as the LG G4, the iPhone 6S and the Sony Xperia Z, along with the Note 5.

So how can the Samsung Galaxy S6 compete with the likes of these devices? Well GMA Arena recently did some tests on the device and they checked the battery life for 3G talk time along with video.

The 3G talk time came in at 20 hours while internet browsing was 11 hours and watching videos was 12 hours. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is able to compete well with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and it competes with the LG G4 and the Sony Xperia Z4, however it couldn’t beat the iPhone 6S.

The results mean that the Samsung Galaxy S6 should be able to give the owners a full days use, which means they shouldn’t worry about the need for carrying a charger around.
