Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Life May Be A Shocker

Samsung have made the Samsung Galaxy S6 larger and they keep doing this with each new handset that comes out. In the past they have made the battery larger on the device to make sure that it gives enough battery life.

With the Samsung Galaxy S6 the battery hasn’t been made larger and it has to compete with the iPhone 6S, LG G4 and the Sony Xperia Z. It also has to compete with its own brother, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

But how does the Samsung S6 compete with the other devices on the market with its battery? GSM Arena recently decided that they would check out the battery life of the device and it did well. The tests on the handset included video and 3G talk time.

The 3G talk time offered by the Samsung S6 lasted for about 20 hours, internet browsing came in at around 11 hours and videos lasted for about 12 hours. The Samsung Galaxy S6 can compete with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but it doesn’t match up to the iPhone 6S. The handset can compete against the LG G4 and the Sony Xperia Z4.

The results of the test mean that owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 can get a full days use from the handset without having to worry about carrying around a charger.
