Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Life Could Be Bit Of A Shocker

Samsung just keep making the Galaxy range of devices bigger and bigger with each release. In the past Samsung have been making the battery bigger to match the handset to ensure that it can match the increasing size. But the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be a bit of a shocker.

Samsung have made the Samsung Galaxy S6 bigger but they forget to make the battery bigger too. The handset has to compete along with the LG G4, the iPhone 6S and the Sony Xperia Z.

But how can the Samsung Galaxy S6 compete with the other handsets on the market if the battery hasn’t increased to match the size of the device? Well tests were made on the handset and the results may shock you. Tests made on the handset included 3G talk time along with watching video, so how did it manage?

The 3G talk time of the Samsung Galaxy S6 was 20 hours, while watching videos was 12 and browsing the internet came in at 11 hours. This means that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is able to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge but it cannot keep up with the iPhone 6S. The device is able to match the Sony Xperia Z4 and the LG G4.

What the tests show is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 should offer the owner a full days use and they will not have to worry about ensuring that they carry a charger with them at all times.
