The unlock code that is outed means that you can unlock your Samsung Galaxy S5 free of charge and then take that device to another carrier to get a better deal on minutes, texts and internet usage. The first thing you have to do is get a new SIM card for the carrier you want to use.

Put the new SIM card into your handset and then turn the Samsung Galaxy S5 back on.

Turn the device off and then turn it back on again and then open the dialpad and then type in *#197328640#.

You should then choose the following [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3] Perso SHA256 OFF.

You then have to wait for around 30 seconds and you can then choose back, to go back to the main menu.

When you get into the main menu you will see Network Lock and then all you have to do is choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ.
