Samsung Galaxy S4 vs HTC M7: S4 Clearly Has The Upper Hand [RUMOR]

By  |

There have been lots of leaks about two of the upcoming phones this year, the HTC M7 and the Samsung Galaxy S4. The predecessors to the two devices were among the best on the market last year and this should be the same when the two handsets are revealed this year.

Samsung Galaxy S4 vs HTC M7

At the moment the only way to compare the handsets are from specs that have been rumoured, along with the current models. Of course both new handsets will have been improved over the current editions. There are many people with the Samsung Galaxy S3 & S2 who are waiting to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and who will be make the upgrade, like-wise can be said about HTC One X users.

We can expect that the older handsets would remain on the best-selling list this year, until the arrival of the new devices.

Of course it is strange comparing two handsets that are not on the market yet. However there are some people out there who want to read about it as rumours are generally a part of the release process of any handset, with some tech lovers believing that some of the rumours are actually leaked by those who are bringing out the devices.

It has been suggested that the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will happen around 22nd March. However some people believe this is a wild claim and this date is way too early. Meanwhile the HTC M7 is thought to be coming out at the MWC in late February. Their last major handset was revealed at this venue last year, so many people believe that this would be the perfect place to reveal the HTC M7.

At the moment the rumours regarding the specs for the HTC M7 seem to be more reliable than those about the Samsung Galaxy S4. Here’s what we have so far:

Samsung Galaxy S4: 4.99-inch/5-inch FHD Display with 1080p Resolution (440PPI), 1.8GHz Octa-Core Processor, 13MP Rear Camera, Wireless Charging

HTC M7: 4.7-inch 1080p Display, 1.7GHz Quad-core Snapdragon Processor, 32GB Storage, 13MP Camera/2MP Front-Facing, 2,300 mAh Battery, 2GB of RAM

If the above holds true then the Samsung Galaxy S4 has the advantage over the HTC M7 as it has a bigger display and faster processor, while matching it in other respects. With just anywhere from a couple of week to months to go, we’ll soon find out!
