Samsung Galaxy S4 Runs Into Trouble, Ditches Goodies [SM]

The folks over at SamMobile have insider news of the official unconfirmed specs of the Samsung Galaxy S4. They say that the handset will not have the Exynos processor as there have been issues with overheating.

We can confirm that the device will have the Snapdragon 600 processor and that it will be clocked at 1.9Ghz, which would mean the device would be 0.2 Ghz more than the HTC One adds SM.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will come with 2GB of RAM and it will be available in storage options of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The device will have the full HD screen. This will be 4.99 inches SoLux display, however at the moment there is not information as to whether or not this will be based on the LCD3 tech, like the HTC One. Just a few months ago we said that the LCD factory of Samsung was ready and that it would be able to produce full panels in HD from early this year. The AMOLED factory has been hit with many problems when it comes to production.

The insider said that the device would be 138 grams and that it would be 140.1 x 71.8 x 7.7mm. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a physical home button and touch buttons. A photo has been posted which shows the device will be in a square form again. The sides will be made of aluminium, however Samsung have stuck with the plastic for the back. This could be an indication that the battery is removable.

Yesterday it was said that the Samsung Galaxy S4 would come with a camera of 13 megapixels and photos were leaked which were taken on the handset.

If this news is right then fans of the AMOLED displays and Exynos processors, will be in for disappointment.
