Samsung Trolls Galaxy S4 Fans: Here’s The New Galaxy S Phone!

By  |

Samsung have introduced the world to a new Galaxy S device running Android and it looks just like the Samsung Galaxy S2. The new handset is called the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus and in no way has the technological advancements we were expecting from the Samsung Galaxy S4 which was what we were really waiting for this week.

Samsung: No Samsung Galaxy S4, just S2 Plus

The device runs on Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and has the latest Touchwiz Nature user interface. However the remainder of the specs are just a minor improvement or they are the same as found on the Samsung Galaxy S2. The Plus handset has a display of 4.3 inches, which is WVGA Super AMOLED Plus, the processor is a dual core of 1.2GHz, there is 1GB of RAM, along with cameras of 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel. The storage is just 8GB, however the phone supports SD card up to 64GB.

It seems that there is a version supporting NFC and one that doesn’t, the camera also has a great zero shutter lag which sounds great. At the moment there is no word on the cost of the device, or when it will be available.

As for the Samsung Galaxy S4, we will still have to wait and see if there is in fact an octa-core Key Lime Pie Android on the horizon.
