There have been many rumours going around surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S4 lately. Some have said that Samsung may launch the device as early as February and that the handset could come with a display of 5 inches and a quad core processor that has been improved, along with a new look for 2013.

The Galaxy S device always comes before other Galaxy branded devices every year and as such it has all the very latest of technologies that Samsung have developed for the year coming. This time we have some ideas as to what Samsung may be about to reveal when they launch the Galaxy S4 next year.

Droid-Life hints that Samsung will be joining the 1080p party next year and compete with the likes of the HTC J Butterfly. It is thought that Samsung will being the rollout of a 1080p display, starting at a screen with a ppi of 400. HTC have told us that J Butterfly has a display of 440ppi and it runs on the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with having 2GB of RAM. Samsung will therefore have to have something superb up their sleeves if they want to beat it. However as Samsung will more than likely deliver the new device at the MWC they have time on their side.

Along with the 1080p display that DL points out, Samsung may use a flexible screen on the new Samsung Galaxy S4 as the Korean company have confirmed that the YOUM display will be in production next year, finally. So this news provides us with two large hints at what the Samsung Galaxy S4 albeit just for its screen. Other details such as design and what’s under the hood remains a mystery.
