Samsung’s Motherland Reveals Galaxy S4 March Debut

Reports are starting to come out from the Korean press about the next generation flagship phone with the name of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The DDaily claims to have some information that is of interest about the device and they say that Samsung has started to boost up production of components.

They say that the new handset will not be too far away from the design of the Samsung Galaxy S3. The organic looks along with feel will be seen in the device again, as will the three buttons. Samsung have been experimenting without buttons, however it has been said that they have chosen to remain with the home, back and the menu buttons.

The newspaper goes on to say that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will not come with the S Pen stylus; there were rumours going around that it would. They say that instead Samsung will use contactless gestures. At the moment there is not a lot of information about what this could entail, however it is possible that we could see tech very similar to that what has been seen on the Sony Xperia Sola. This can detect when a finger is at a distance. Other reports suggest that the handset could come with a display of 4.99 inches and the screen would be Super AMOLED at 1080p.

DDaily also says that the Samsung Galaxy S3 could be revealed in the middle of March and might be on the shelves in April. This would make sense as their competitors, such as HTC and Sony will not have traction in the weeks that follow the MWC.

Of course you do have to take all of this with a pinch of salt as we have not heard anything official yet. However based on rumours we could see the next big thing to come from Samsung very soon.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
