The Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Motorola DROID RAZR beats the Apple iPhone 5, but Apple beats the Nokia Lumia 920.

iPhone 5 falls behind Samsung Galaxy S3 & DROID RAZRs but ahead of Nokia Lumia 920

According to ChannelPartnersOnline, there have been some critics who have said that Apple is lacking innovation of late, and these people are backed by a consumer magazine that is well known nationally.

Consumer Reports have been getting their smartphone ratings ready to be published in the February edition. According to their summary box, the Apple iPhone 5 doesn’t come into the top 3 at Verizon. The top three Android devices are the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, the Motorola DROID Razr HD and the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Apple iPhone 5 is in fact behind the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the LG Optimus over at AT&T and Sprint.

The mag also says that the Samsung Galaxy S3, the HTC One S and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 are at the top on T-Mobile in the US.

Consumer Reports haven’t said how they got the data, but you may wish to check out their February issue which will be out in the coming days.

What does stand out, other than the low marks for the Apple iPhone 5, is the fact that there are no other devices apart from Android, in the top 3 of each of the carrier’s lists. This is despite the fact that manufacturers have released some great phones, one of which is the Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8. The iPhone 5 does stand ahead of the Nokia Lumia 920 though.
