Samsung Galaxy S3 vs LG Nexus 4: Which Is Better?

By  |

The battle for best Android handset has been going on between the LG Nexus 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S3 ever since the LG phone was revealed 2 months ago. Both of the Android devices have displays that are crystal clear, processors that are very fast, solid cameras and they run on Android Jelly Bean.

LG Nexus 4 vs Samsung Galaxy S3

The LG Nexus 4 comes with Jelly Bean 4.2.1 and this has featyres such as PhotoSphere, Gesture Typing, lockscreen widgets and an interface that is very smooth. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is not handicapped, despite it having TouchWiz, as this brings features such as Smart Stay, Share Shot, Buddy Share and S Beam, among other things.

I would recommend the LG Nexus 4 rather than the Samsung Galaxy S3 providing that you would not miss LTE and can settle for 16GB of internal storage. If you take these two factors out then the LG Nexus 4 is the best for design and getting updates quicker, along with having hardware that is more powerful at a fraction of the price.

Another thing you may wish to check out is the survey which was run at Android Authority recently. The survey there showed that 59% of people voted for the LG Nexus 4, with 353 votes, compared to the 41% for the Samsung Galaxy S3 with 247 votes. While this gives you some idea over which of the handsets is the more popular, the best one for you would be down to personal choice.
