One of the most popular devices for Samsung has been the Samsung Galaxy S3 and it hasn’t reached its first birthday yet. However there are rumours that the next generation handset is on its way and that we could see this in March or April. We have now heard news that the cost of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be dropping, over in India. This may be an indication that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is making its way out soon.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been dominating the smartphone market, as it should; after all it is a top of the range handset. Even today the handset has a lot to offer and it could become a bargain now that the price tag has been dropped.

When it first came out in India it cost Rs. 43,000 and some weeks ago it was reduced to Rs. 31,900. Samsung have now lowered the price again and now you can get it in India for Rs. 29, 480. Over at Flipkart it is down to Rs. 29,200.

This feels like a superb bargain even though the Samsung Galaxy S4 will have to more to offer, with it being the newer handset. The specs of the Samsung Galaxy S3 are great. It includes a quad core processor which runs at 1.4GHz, a display of 4.8 inches with resolution of 1280 x 720, camera on the front of 1.9 megapixels and a back camera of 8 megapixels.

It is thought that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be coming with the Exynos 5 Octa processor, a screen of 4.99 inches in full HD and a camera that has 13 megapixels. Of course at the moment we have not had confirmation of any of this. Rumour has it that device will be revealed at the Unpacked Event and this is to be held on the 15th March. Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy S3 does have a lot to offer if you live in India and now is an excellent time to get one.

Are you going to take full advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S3 now that the price had dropped down?
