Forget Galaxy S3, Samsung Saving The Best For Last?

By  |

It’s that special time of the week when we get all excited over some new tantalizing rumors. We have heard recently that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be out in October – although this is far from definite, so it’s best to wait for some kind of official confirmation. Meanwhile, however, Korean web newspaper MK have revealed some snippets about the next Galaxy Note.

All those Samsung Galaxy S3 rumors that never happened look headed for Samsung Galaxy Note 2

According to this online paper, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a 12MP camera, and…..(drum roll)…’ll be the first smartphone with Samsung’s flexible LED screen. The display will be 5.4” and the device will run on Android 4.1 Jellybean. This will be the first Samsung series featuring this amazing new version of Android.

There’s no news on release dates or pricing, though, despite the rumors saying it’ll be out in October. Rumours alone won’t do it for us, though – we need to see some leaked shots or blurrycam at the very least. When Samsung revealed the flexible screens at CES it also said that the first flexible smartphone would be rolled out later this year so that’s why we are following this leak closely at the moment.

That’s all we’ve got on this next Samsung behemoth right now, but do let us know what you think by leaving a comment in the box below. And as for those of you who have been keeping tabs on rumors. You will recall that the 12-megapixel camera and flexible display were also rumored for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and unfortunately didn’t come to fruition. Could Samsung be saving the best for last? We know how big the holiday shopping season is and with the Samsung Galaxy S3 launching early this year, Sammy could just be saving the Galaxy Note 2 to conquer the end of year sales.
