Samsung Galaxy S3 Gets A New Look!

It’s here! Jelly Bean is winging its way across the air to all those eager Samsung Galaxy S3 users… in Poland.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update also includes a small makeover

Also known as Android 4.1.1., Jelly Bean B is going out as a Samsung Kies and OTA upgrade to Polish phones, but may reckon it’s the start of a general rollout across the rest of Europe. The upgrade brings lots of new widgets as well as better battery life.

We even got out hands on a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Jelly Bean pre-loaded at the EE UK 4G launch – there was an LTE S3 there that we spent some quality time with and found that the S3 did get a makeover.

This upgrade isn’t available in the US yet, but we’re keeping a close eye on Kies and our own Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 and will be shouting from the rooftops when we get even the slightest indication of Jelly Bean. It’s thought that it will come to SIM-free phones first, just FYI.

Now on the topic of a new look, Samsung has given a slight makeover to the Galaxy S3 which you will see when JB hits your device. We’re talking about a reorganized settings menu, 2 homescreen modes, a brand spanking new Notifications bar, and finally the added ability to resizable the pop-up play screen.
