Samsung Galaxy S3 Not Perfect, Flaws You Can Expect

By  |

With everyone raving about the Samsung Galaxy S3 it seems flawless, but this is not the case – here are some problems that have been found with Samsung’s flagship phone. Some of them can be rectified by Samsung but some are less easy to fix. This is a summary of all the complaints that have been going around the web with regards to the Samsung Galaxy S3:

Samsung Galaxy S3 bugs reported so far

Difficulty charging – it does not always charge even when plugged in, or takes a very long time to; Explosions! – In Dublin an S3 owner was reported to have the smartphone explode when he put it on its car mount. The device was very badly melted and left with no signal. Samsung are claiming the fault lies with the mount and are allegedly refusing to replace the device; Overheating –  This comes from a number of complaints from users, and is currently under investigation by Samsung; Bad connection – The Wi-Fi struggles to connect or stay connected due to complaints on forums. There have been suggestions on how to fix this though from one particular user on AndroidForums. The user who goes by the name of cary328is has suggested the following which they claim “was learned from XDA developers:

1. Go to your phone dialer
2. Dial *#0011#
3. When you see the “ServiceMode” screen, press the left menu button
4. Select “WiFi”
5. See that “Wifi Power Save Mode” button that is “ON” – well turn it “OFF”
6. Exit this menu, turn off your Wifi and turn it back on. If you already entered all your wifi credentials, forget your network info (remove it) and re-enter it again.”
