The delays with getting out the Jelly Bean update may have took the shine off the Samsung Galaxy S3 for some owners in the US. So now in fact owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 are waiting on the release of Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

Samsung have taken a look at the list of existing handsets and the update is coming to some phones. Thankfully, one of which is the Samsung Galaxy S3, says Samsung.

Of course we know that Samsung are typically slow when it comes to offering updates, so it may be a while before the update arrives despite getting the stamp of approval from the Korean giant already.

When the Jelly Bean 4.2 comes out to the Samsung Galaxy S3 it will bring many improvements, two of these include Photo Sphere and Gesture Typing. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is at the top of the list of Samsung’s to get the update, along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Whether the Samsung Galaxy S2, along with the original Samsung Galaxy Note will be getting the update, is unknown at this time.
