The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which is from the Galaxy series of devices, comes with some features that the rest of the series doesn’t have. One of these is Multiview. Now the folks over at LatinoPost (LP) report that this feature is on its way to the Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3 and the original Note, alongside the Jelly Bean update to Android 4.1.2.

LP: Multiwindows coming alongside Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update

Samsung have only just rolled out the update to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 for the many Samsung Galaxy S3 variants out there. The Samsung Galaxy S2 and the original Note have not got the update, but it is thought that it will come from Samsung very soon.

When the devices do get the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update it will bring Multi-view to all of these devices. Multi-view means that two apps can be opened side by side and they can be re-sized independently of each other. The Samsung Note 2 is a great multi-tasking device and very soon other devices will be too.

Samsung have also introduced the new Gallery app, which comes from the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, in the update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy S2, along with the original Note. Two additional features include Smart Rotation and a Swype style keyboard reports the source.

We must say that it will be interesting to see how multiwindows will be like on the Samsung Galaxy S2 given that it only has a 4.3-inch display.
