The Samsung Galaxy S2 is still waiting for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. Its successor the Samsung Galaxy S3 as well as its stablemate the Note have already gotten the update in most regions.

The folks over at LatinoPost report that the much talked about Multi-windows feature that came with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be making its way to the Galaxy S2. Now this would basically make the Samsung Galaxy S2 the smallest Samsung phone to run the multi-windows feature which basically lets you run two apps simultaneously in split-screen.

Other goodies headed to the Samsung Galaxy S2 along with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and multi-windows include a new Gallery app, Smart Rotation and a Swype style keyboard.
