Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean Update Brings Multi-Windows To Smallest Screen Yet

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, while it is part of the Galaxy series, comes with features that you don’t see elsewhere in the series. The LatinoPost now says that one of these features – Multi-View – is coming to the Samsung Galaxy S2 as well as the original Note, thanks to the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update also bringing multi-windows

Samsung has only recently got the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 roll out to the Galaxy S3 worldwide with Verizon being the last to the party just last month. The Samsung Galaxy S2 hasn’t got it yet, but it’s believed to be coming in the next few months.

The bump up will bring Multi-View to these devices, so two apps can run side-by-side on the screen and changed or moved independently of one another. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is known as an amazing multi-tasking device, and its stablemates – even the older ones – could well be too.

Samsung is also bringing a new Gallery app from the Note 2 to the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S2 and the first Note. These devices also get Smart Rotation and a Swype-like keyboard.
