Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean Update & A Little More

By  |

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a jewel in the Galaxy crown and really has some features that set it apart from its chums.

Multi-View has to be one of the best examples. However once Jelly Bean gets to the Galaxy S2 and other older Galaxy handsets the Note 2 might find itself facing some competition.

Once the update had reached some Galaxy S2’s in Asia, owners found that they could use Multi-View. This means they can open and use two apps in different windows, and the size of these windows can be changed independently of each other. The Galaxy Note 2 is famous for its multi-tasking facility, and now it seems this is spreading!

The Gallery app is also heading to older devices as well as Smart Rotation and a Swype-style keyboard.

There’s no firm date for the JB update to the Galaxy S2 on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint but March is likely.
