Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean Update: Current Status

By  |

Samsung sells millions of its handsets all over the world, making it a leading maker of smartphones. The company’s older devices are still going strong even now, and because of this, many of its older phones will be getting a bump up to Jelly Bean. It seems that the latest OS will be coming to the Galaxy S2, the Galaxy Note and the Ace 2, as well as other devices.

Recently we heard that Jelly Bean 4.2 is due out for the Galaxy S2, and Samsung has amended its online manual for the Galaxy Note to include information about this new firmware.

More info about the JB update has come from Samsung Ukraine. The website says that The Galaxy Ace 2 and the Galaxy S2 will get Jelly Bean 4.2 on March 3.

The Galaxy Note is also in line for JB on March 1. UK customers are also hoping to get the update before much longer, as amendments have been made for the UK handset too.
