Official Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update outed

This Jelly Bean 4.1 update came from XDA devs and is for the I-9100 international Galaxy S2. It’s bug-free, which makes many think that it’ll be the final version. This new build should be out by spring.

The new Jelly Bean update will bring TouchWiz to Galaxy S2 users, as well as lots of other Jelly Bean features like Google Now.

We’re still waiting for Samsung to roll the official update out, but if you are able to flash a ROM, you could give the leaked release a shot. The official version may well be only a short while away, though, which will mean you’ll be able to update your Galaxy S2 over the air or via Kies. As of yesterday, Samsung already rolled out the update for the Korean version of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Fingers crossed that other nations get it it this month as well.
