Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean Update Has A Certain “Notable” Add-on

By  |

While the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 belongs to the Galaxy series of handsets the device has some features that are not seen on other devices in the series. According to Latinopost one of the most popular of these features is Multi-View and apparently it is now making its way to the Samsung Galaxy S2, along with the original Note device, thanks to the update to Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update to also feature Multi-View

The Jelly Bean update was recently rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Verizon were the last to offer the update. Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S2 still wait for the update and they may have to wait for some weeks or even months yet as it only hits Singapore later this month.

When the update comes it will bring Multi-view to the handsets, which means that two apps will be able to be opened in different windows side by side, along with being able to resize windows. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been said to be the ultimate device when it comes to multi-tasking and it seems that the older handsets could also follow suit.

Samsung is also to offer a new Gallery app to their Samsung Galaxy S3, the Samsung Galaxy S2, along with the first Samsung Galaxy Note. The devices will get a keyboard that is similar to Swype along with Smart Rotation as well.
