Samsung Galaxy S10: 5G Not Happening So Soon

By  |

Earlier reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S10 could be coming in with 5G connectivity but new reports are now saying that the device will not ship with the 5G-enabled modem.

According to Ice Universe, the device will not have 5G networks when it is released and that it will stick with the 4G LTE connectivity for now. However, we do know that Samsung plans to announce their 5G next year but if it is not the S10, which device will the 5G be offered on.

At this point, nobody knows what to expect yet but some people believe that Samsung will show off their 5G connection using a not-so-consumer-friendly phone just to show what 5G can do.

We are also waiting for Samsung to release a new foldable smartphone which is pretty much a mystery right now. It is believed that Samsung will show off the S10 at CES next year and possibly the folded device at MWC in February.
