Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Gets Update To Marshmallow: Good Or Bad?

By  |

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have managed to get their hands on the Marshmallow update but is it good or bad?

Of course it would depend on who you asked as people have opinions that differ. Some people say there are good things to it and others say there are bad.

One of the pros about the update to Android Marshmallow is the fact that the update seems to make the device run faster. Some people have said that when using multi-screen the handset doesn’t lag anymore and apps open up quicker.

Another benefit to the Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is that it has fixed an issue with the fingerprint scanner. WiFi issues also seem to have been fixed as there was a problem with the handset going back to LTE as it was faster.

The battery life is said to be improved and Air Command can be assigned shortcuts. The network radio is better and now shows the right amount of bars and the speaker is now louder.

There are some downsides to the Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and this is that the icons take on a cartoon appearance and there is a lack of themes.

Do you have the Marshmallow update on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and what do you think?
