Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Gets Mention Alongside S4

While the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may only have just come out in the US, there is evidence that seems to point to the Note 3 being in development. Rumour has it that the handset could come with a display that is even larger than that of the Note 2.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumors join S4

Rumours have been going around for some time now about a Samsung Galaxy S4. However the launch of the Note 2 in the US seems to have sparked rumours and leaks about a Note 3. The Galaxy Note 2 is one of the best devices on the market at the moment in the Android bunch, with some saying that is the best device around

Product-Reviews reports that DLNS certification has been seen which suggests that there is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (see picture at bottom of story). The device has the number of GT-N5100 and in the past Samsung has used this tag for their Note and Note 2 devices. This suggests that there is a Note 3 in the running already.

So what could the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 look like? It has been said that the device will be just a larger version of the Note 2, instead of being a next generation handset. Samsung of course will want to show off a device at the 2013 MWC as this has been the event where they release their star devices. So a slightly larger Note 2 would be possible in this short of a timeframe (MWC is in February).

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features some superb specs, along with features and hardware. There have been rumours that Samsung would release an S4 that came with a display that was edge to edge. So could this be a possibility with the Note 3 as well? Bear in mind that it has been said that Samsung are working on the YOUM flexible display, which they hope to have in production next year. So we could even see a larger Note but with a flexible display to make it more portable.
