Octa-Core Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Too Big For MWC, At IFA Instead [RUMOR]

By  |

There were whispers earlier this year that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would grace us with its massive presence at CES or MWC this year.

With CES coming and going, and MWC now just around the corner, it looks like we may have to wait longer. According to a new report from The Korea Times, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may be saved for IFA 2013 which takes place in September only. This makes sense given that the Note 2 was release around the same time last year and it gave a healthy gap between it and the S3. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is of course coming this year as well.

So what can we expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? TKT adds that we would see a 6.3-inch display and 8-core processor. As far fetched as that may sound right now, it is important to note that Samsung did unveil its 8-core processor at CES already, the Exynos 5. As for the 6.3-inch display, we got a glimpse of the 6.1-inch Huawei Ascend Mate last week as well showing that phablets may continue growing in size.

So if these rumors hold true, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may be a long way off and closer to the release of the iPhone 6 if anything.
