Anyone wanting a device with a large display will be pleased to know that one of the devices with the largest display on the market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, now comes with a price tag at Amazon, which is half that of what Verizon are selling it for. This is an offer open to those moving to Verizon or for anyone who wishes to add in another line to an existing family plan.

Of course discounts are common when a product is coming close to the end of its lifecycle, but the Samsung Galaxy Note isn’t.  The Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was released in Q4 of 2012, but people are now looking ahead to the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which is thought to be making its way out in Q3 or Q4 of this year. This makes the deal at Amazon stand out as you can get the Verizon version of the handset in Titanium Grey for $149.99, with a contract of two years. Verizon sell the device for $299.99 on contract.

If you want to move to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with an upgrade then you will pay $189.99. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with an Exynos quad core processor of 1.6GHz and it has a 5.5 inch screen of Super AMOLED, offering 267ppi and resolution of 1280 x 720. The handset comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage internally, which can be expanded to 64GB via microSD card, a camera on the back of 8 megapixels which is capable of taking 1080p video and there is a camera of 1.9 megapixel on the front.

The handset has Jelly Bean 4.1, support for LTE and NFC, has a battery of 3100mAh and it comes with the S Pen stylus. Check out the offer on the product page over at Amazon for details on how to grab yourself a bargain.
