Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.2 Update Out In Next 3 Weeks

Both the Google Nexus 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus are scheduled to get the update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean by sometime in the middle of November.

The upgrade will also come pre-installed on numerous Google handsets (LG Nexus 4, Nexus 7 & Nexus 10). The update brings with it many new features which include improvements to the notifications, camera and the keyboard.

According to the Google Play store the new Nexus devices are set to launch on 13th November. Android 4.2 was expected to be revealed by Google at their event in NY, however the event was cancelled due to the hurricane. Google then revealed their Nexus 10 and other releases over the internet the day after the cancelled event.

Google told us about the Nexus 10 that comes with an impressive screen and a processor that is powerful and comes with the latest Jelly Bean Android 4.2. The device has one of the highest resolutions of a display on a tablet and comes with multi-user support and HD content.

So hang in there Samsung Galaxy Nexus users, the Android 4.2 update is just around the corner.
