Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2: Good Things Come In Small Packages

Android is soaking up the limelight this year, after unleashing some of the best handsets ever, like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Note 2. It’s not over yet, either, as Samsung apparently have a  Galaxy Nexus 2 on their way, reports sources. The Nexus, we’re told, will have an 8MP camera.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 to stick with same 4.65″ display, goodies inside (rumor)

AllAboutSamsung told us about the leaked specs of the new Galaxy Nexus GT-i9260 (or the Nexus 2 as it is being dubbed).

According to the tech blog, the device’s front camera will be 1.9MP and HD, which brings it up to Note 2 and Galaxy S3 standard. The Nexus 2 will retain the same 4.65” HD Super AMOLED screen, but will have a dual-core 1.5GHz chip under the hood. Internal storage is thought to be 16GB, with add-on capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 will have Jelly Bean out of the box, just the same as all the other Nexus devices.

DroidLife also claims to have seen a listing for a “Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2” on the Carphone Warehouse website. This same list revealed a 32GB Google Nexus 7 tablet in the pipeline earlier and this has come true as well. It’s believed that the Nexus 2 will ship in time for the holiday season.

If rumors serve true, it will join the LG Nexus 4 that has also been leaked.
