Rolls Royce Jumps Ahead By Ditching Hybrid

By  |

More and more automakers are focusing their effort on electrifying their vehicle and while most automakers would test out the waters with a hybrid model, Rolls-Royce decided to skip Hybrid altogether and go straight to EVs.

According to CEO Torsten Muller Otvos, electric powered vehicles is where the future is and that hybrid will slowly be ignored. He also made it clear that there is not going to be an in-between step for them which means the next electric powered vehicle we will see from Rolls Royce is going to be a full EV.

Since Rolls Royce has made it clear that they are looking to offer their customers the best that there is, you would think that autonomous driving would also play a role here but according to the CEO, they are not in a hurry to make that happen as they pointed out that most of their buyers don’t even drive the car themselves but they did add that they will eventually offer it in the future.
