Resident Evil 2 Remake Was Never Meant For 2017?

By  |

Ever since Capcom announced that they were going to release the remake version of Resident Evil 2, fans have been hounding them for a date. Although no date or release window was ever given, most fans believe that the game was going to be released in 2017 but we are now more than halfway through 2017 and there is still no news.

While we are still hoping that 2017 would be the year, others seem to think that 2018 would make more sense for the game since 2018 would be the 20th year the game has been around, it would make a lot of sense if the developer actually released the remake version next year.

The last we heard, Capcom suggested that the game would be arriving soon but how soon are we talking about? So far, the only concerns that the fans have was that the game was going to come with a new camera angle and fans are worried that it would destroy the horror atmosphere of the game.
