It would feel like Rockstar is only interested in offering content for their multiplayer mode. We’ve seen that happen with GTA 5 as the developer-only release new content for the multiplayer mode and not the single-player. Well, it looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 will also be getting the same treatment.
The developer has announced that the Red Dead Redemption 2 will not be offering any single-player expansion as they will focus only on the online mode in the game. It was added that the content for Red Dead Onlne will have single-player sensibilities but it will be for the Online mode of the game and not the standard single-player mode.
The latest update that the game received was the Frontier update which brought new roles to the game including Bounty Hunter, Trader, and Collector. While that is nice for those playing the online mode, it will be a little upsetting for those that want a little more single-player story content.
