PS3 Skyrim: Dawnguard & Hearthfire Fans Blindsided By Dragonborn

It has been a month since Xbox 360 fans got their hands on the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC pack and PS3 fans worried about a possibly exclusivity. However Bethesda did make it clear that the Xbox 360 would get all of the DLCs first, which came in the form of Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn, with PS3 to follow shortly after.

PS3 Skyrim: Dragonborn cuts ahead of Dawnguard and Hearthfire

Owners of the PS3 are now waiting for Dragonborn to arrive on their console and Bethesda said that this would be in early 2013. This was great news as PS3 owners were not sure whether they would get the DLC. The Skyrim game that has caused so much upset is one year old and waiting for the older Dawnguard and Hearthfire expansion for it seems very odd, when you consider the fact that owners of the PC and Xbox 360 have had the packs for months.

Bethesda did not give a release date for the DLC; however there have been rumours of Dragonborn coming this month. This would make it one month after owners of the Xbox 360 got it.

While everyone is happy to know that Dragonborn will be coming to the PS3, at the same time it would be nice if Bethesda gave some update on Dawnguard and Hearthfire. Waiting for Dragonborn is enough torture for owners of the PS3, without having to worry about just how long they will have to wait for the other DLCs. After all they should have been out many months ago.
