Update: PS3 Skyrim Dawnguard & Hearthfire DLC Now Weeks Away

By  |

If you own Skyrim on the Xbox 360 you will probably have enjoyed playing all three of the DLCs. If you have then you will be able to imagine just how displeased owners of the PS3 must be, waiting for the first to arrive.

Skyrim DLC for PS3: Dawnguard & Hearthfire should be just weeks apart from Dragonborn (predictions)

Bethesda had said that Dragonborn is coming out on the PS3 early in 2013 and this will be the first of the DLCs to make their way to the PS3. Dawnguard and Hearthfire are to follow.

We have had an insight into delays in getting the DLC to the PS3. Bethesda could have had problems with the compatibility of Hearthfire and Dawnguard for the PS3 and rumours were going around of issues with RAM. However as Dragonborn is imminent, it could be that progression with Dawnguard and Hearthfire could run smoothly as well.

So the question is when will the two remaining DLCs be seen on the PS3? If Dragonborn is released soon, it would be around a month behind the Xbox 360 released, so we can only assume the other 2 DLCs be weeks after given that whatever issues there were with the console compatibility having been resolved.

Update: Speaking of the devil, Bethesda has just announced that Dawnguard & Hearthfire will be coming to the PS3 in February right after Dragonborn. So our predictions of it being just weeks apart were spot on! This is great news for PS3 fans!
