Potential 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid Heading To US

When it comes to hybrids Nissan doesn’t have a great name and with this is mind they could botch things if and when they try to bring a 2017 Nissan Rogue hybrid into the US.

However it does look as though Nissan will take things slow as they are only going to launch a Murano hybrid in the US in just 600 units for the rest of the year. They are going to see how well these go down before then going ahead and we could perhaps see the 2017 Nissan Rogue hybrid take the US market by storm.

As they have chosen the Murano, which is a model that is less popular than the Rogue, this could be a great way to get an idea of how well the vehicle would go down without having a popular nameplate in the way.

The Murano hybrid is going to have a price tag of $40, 050 and it will offer 249 horses. We expect the EPA to be 29mpg combined in the FWD version and 28mpg in the AWD. The regular version of the Murano offers 24mpg combined, while the closest rival to it offers 32mpg and this is the Toyota RAV4 hybrid.
